I have a clean, minimal, modern and contemporary. For logos, I strive to create designs like the Nike Swoosh, Apple icon and similar. Less is definitely more memorable and can be utilized more efficiently. With that said, style is foremost determined by the goals of the brand.
Styles I do not offer: I wish I was Picasso. I just don’t have the gift of painting and hand-drawn art. However, there are tricks to the trade. Quite often, I perform miracles. Get in Touch. Tell Me About Your Project for a Quick Quote.
I am very easy to work with. My process is very streamlined. As a musician, I liken my process to being in a band........or playing tennis. My best work is always when my clients provide maximum feedback. After all, tennis is no fun if the ball is not volleying or the drummer is not in sync with the rest of the band.

PROJECT DELIVERY
Graphic design files provided in PDF Vector format, JPEG and/or whatever file type the client requests. Websites tested before launch prior to providing clients access.
All projects are tailored to the client’s budget and needs. I’m very thankful to have repeat clientele that rehires me to help build their brands one step at a time. It is monetarily beneficial to them.
I operate on the ‘Honor System’. Once a project is approved to go forward, I ask for 50% of my design fee. The remaining 50% payment is to be delivered once the project is finalized and ready to be delivered.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Sometimes, usually due to miscommunication or lack of client feedback participation, a client will request major changes in artistic/design direction or request added deliverables. I make sure to inform the client, in writing, that new fees will be added to originally approved project price way before a project is finalized. These scenarios are rare as I try to avoid such issues by using mockups to help my clients solidify initial project vision.
The quality of my work is determined by the success of my hardworking clientele. View my design portfolio.
When can I expect my project to be finalized and delivered?
Meeting deadlines is very important to me. This is the main reason I do not like to over-book my schedule. It’s always important to agree upon a reasonable deadline before I book a project.
There are times when I can squeeze in a project and deliver results rapidly. Quite often, clients will contact me very last minute....and miss those important windows of opportunity. I encourage all clients to touch base with me weeks ahead of their deadline.
Excellent question. Nobody likes surprises. My project deliverables are tailored to your budget. Deliverable requests are submitted, and I will provide a quote for final approval.
Some clients just order a logo. I provide them with a color and B/W version in Vector PDF format. The PDF includes the brand color and corporate font info. If they need anything else, it’s an added fee.
As a graphic designer, I can design brochures. It’s no problem to create a more formal brand style guide that can include a logo, color palette, typography guidelines, and branding standards.
Absolutely. I try to finish my projects as soon as possible. I also do not like to over-book my schedule. Doing so allows me to concentrate on each project.
Some design projects take more time than others. For example, a logo project can take 1-2 weeks. The updates would be in the form of new logo sample options sent approximately every 3 days.....or sooner.
A website project can take 3-5 weeks depending on the page count request. Websites are a much slower task dependent on photography (stock or client-supplied), connecting the URL, choosing a template, template configuration, connecting to Google Webmaster Services and so much more. My goal is to always assist the client in finding the best template for their business/business goals and finalizing a mockup as soon as possible. Once the mockup is approved, I send 1-2 weekly updates with an item list of progress.
Most of my clients are small business owners. My business acumen becomes very useful and an advantage to my clients. I don’t design for myself. I don’t design for my clients. I design with a mission to build or maintain a community connection with the client’s target market. When a client hasn’t really determined who their strategic target market is, it’s my job to strategically steer them to success.
YOUR INPUT IS WELCOMED
At the very start of the project, clear communication is key. The clearer the communication, the faster the project is finalized. I deliver preliminary project mockups for feedback purposes. Typically, the Mockup Phase will go back-and-forth 2-3 times. Once the mockup(s) is approved, production on the final product begins.
CHANGING ARTISTIC DIRECTION MIDWAY
Designing anything takes valuable time. If I am forced to change artistic direction due to client-side miscommunication, there will be additional fees added.
The best brands have a “story”. A strategic “story” is the tactic that builds and nurtures communities. For established companies that already have their branding set, I request the brand guidelines in addition to researching the organization’s current online branding efforts. Most importantly, I interview and brainstorm with the main project contact(s) to solidify the overall assignment request, design style and goal.
New companies or small organizations without strong brand programs are more delicate. My typical clients are business savvy. However, they usually don’t have dedicated marketing staff. They usually already have the skill to create a product or offer a service. Often, they just haven’t strategically established the Who, What, When, or Why (should a potential customer buy your brand). As with all my clients, I guide them every step of the way.
Owner-operated Freelance Services. All design services provided by owner. My brand design services are somewhat unique. My consultation and creativity begins with a solid foundation built with an MBA in International Business, BS in Marketing, AS in Advertising/Public Relations and Professional Certificate in Strategic Online Marketing. My design style is modern, minimal and contemporary. I have valuable experience in development/fundraising, marketing, public relations, the Arts and Real Estate. I am able to see the full 360° branding view of an organization...established or startup. My clients are able to save money overall by avoiding the need to pay multiple workers to complete one project.
Why Choose
Rivera Branding?
01
Reduce Costly MiscommunicationFrom start-to-finish, clients communicate directly with me. I don’t outsource my work. The bigger the team (from client or design team), the more opinions. Often, original ideas can dilute their way down to a designer increasing the chance of wasted effort, missed deadlines and added fees.
02
The Wow FactorI like to brainstorm as many ideas as possible before presenting my first samples. There are times I work through the night to meet important deadlines. There’s always two responses: 1. “Okay, I really like that, but…” and 2. “WOW, WE LOVE IT!” My work is never complete until I get the “Wow!”
